The blue and white she-cat ran toward the rocky hills that are part of her home. Her paws made no sound as the made her way up, looking for something fun to do. Rainsong had to get away from camp, her mother was not happy with her “attitude”, as she had put it. The she-cat did not understand why her parents expected so much of her brother. You can almost say they expected even more of Rainsong, as she was always a little more aloof than her brother. And as she aged her mind did not seem to follow with her body. She still loves to play, chase bugs and adventures. No one knows if she has a mental disability. But either than having a little too much fun there’s nothing wrong with Rainsong.
Her small paws made it to the top of the many small hills in the area. The scenery was so beautiful, she could see the camp, the lake, the mountains, and even into some of the other clan’s territory. Rainsong closed her eyes, the sweet summer breeze ruffling her fur. The female did feel that she has changed from when she was younger, even though many of the clan cat’s cannot. She felt ready, ready for something she has been putting off for a long time. Rainsong finally feels ready to find a mate and maybe even raise a family. She did not have a crush on anyone; you could say she never really paid much attention to the males. But as her mind and body felt ready she feels that looking for a mate is something she must focus harder on. Spotting a grasshopper the female smiled, lurching toward the small green insect, she purred with delight.
