Mistflame was laying in front of the fresh-kill pile, wondering what kind of prey she wanted to eat. She wasn't sure, plus there were other thing son her mind besides food, like someday finding a mate and getting her first apprentice soon. Oh, how she wished she had her first apprentice, she would have to teach them all kind I things that she had to learn, like how to hunt, stalk, crouch, and scent. Then there was fighting, dodging, quick moves not to get killed. The ginger and white she-cat with pale green eyes, looked around camp for someone to talk to.

Falconpaw 'The sky aint the limit We goin higher than that ' It was a lovely day, warm and calm. So nice it was it made is very difficult for a young tom to rouse with the dawn. He managed, barely, and set about seeing his siblings off for the day. That having been done he found himself at a standstill. Nothing to do but wait until a warrior could escort him out of the camp. Blinking large, yellow eyes the large apprentice sighed. His tail twitching side to side irritably as he trudged across the Gorgeclan camp. Setting hiss course for the fresh-kill pile he decieded he might as well get something to eat.
Falconpaw blinked in surprise as he nearly trod on Mistflame's tail. Pretending he hadn't come so close to walking right on top of the smaller she-cat he bobbed his head awkwardly. Moving to the right as he settled into a crouch. He looked over the prey and grimaced. Everything fresh had already been eaten. He glanced up towards the warrior, his large maw splitting as he spoke quietly. "Nothing fresh, eh?" He spoke as if it was a question but really it was more of a statement. He was trying vainly to shake the sleepy fog from his brain and knew he must sound like an idiot to the warrior but he couldn't help it. It was too early for him, he still wasn't used to waking up so early. He just hoped maybe Mistflame would be able to take him somewhere exciting. Not being able to go out of camp without a warrior was such a drag.

Mistflame suddenly heard almost stomping footsteps behind her and the cat that had been stomping, spoke to her quietly, she looked back at the pile and at the cat. It was Falconpaw that was talking to her, and he was crouched beside her. "Hello Falconpaw, no there is nothing fresh today. How about you and I go catch something fresh? Then, we'll go someplace I know that you will love." She wondered if Falconpaw even had a mentor yet, if not Mistflame could teach some things to this tom early, so he could get his warrior assessment quickly. "Do you have a mentor yet? If not, I was thinking about training you a little to maybe become a warrior sooner when you do have a mentor, if that's alright with you?" The ginger and white she-cat stood up and looked at Falconpaw with curiosity in her pale green eyes. "Do you want to go?"[/color

Falconpaw 'I use to sit and wonder what am I missin Broad day light daydreamin , bringin back' Rolling his broad shoulders the tom studied the warrior quietly. He knew her from kit-hood, she always was up to play games with his siblings. Usually he sat them out, preferring to watch and make sure no one got hurt. He was trying to remember if he had ever shared words with the she-cat when she spoke. She would take him out of the camp, even if it was tedious hunting it was much better then nothing. His sleep fogged brain stirred immediately and he flashed Mistflame a wide grin. Ever the polite, proud young fellow he spoke "That would be much appreciated." He said it calmly but his twitching tail tip gave away his pent up energy.
Just the thought of getting out of camp woke Falconpaw up, his paws itched to run. Having a hard time sitting still the large tom pushed himself into a sitting position. Looking down at Mistflame as she continued on to say that she would be willing to show him the ropes. He nodded enthusiastically, his maw opened as he spoke once more "I haven't a mentor yet." He didn't mind being mentorless, the warriors usually helped him out here and there and even though most of the time he only got to hunt or clean out the elder's den it was exciting to be helpful. He couldn't help but wonder who his mentor would be. He hoped they would indulge him with lots of battle practice. Shaking off his thoughts Falconpaw smiled, his eyes lit up with the prospect of learning something new. He would learn everything, he would become the best warrior there ever was, he was sure of that! Falconpaw bounced up onto his massive paws, his tail curled over his back, his usually calm tone laced with passion as he meowed. "I would be honored to learn from you, Mistflame!" He waited for her response, eager to be able to stretch his growing muscles.

Mistflame nodded to Falconpaw, it wasn't surprising that he didn't have a mentor yet. "Well, if you ever need a mentor, I could be at your service. I've never had an apprentice before." She smiled and dipped her head to Falconpaw. "What would you like to learn first? The hunter's crouch or battle techniques? I can teach you both, or we could just go on a quick hunting trip. I don't mind teaching you whatever you want to learn first." She tilted her head to one side and looked at the young apprentice. The ginger and white she-cat started to bound towards the camp entrance, but stopped to wait for Falconpaw. She looked back over her shoulder at the tom. "Are you coming?"
